The ring shown above is called Akiko. We call this a cluster ring because smaller gemstones surround the centre stone. This platinum version is set with one sphere grey pearl centre stone weighing 8 mm, embraced by smaller lab grown diamond stones. What makes this classic platinum cluster ring special is the setting of the smaller gems surrounding the centre grey pearl, which are shaped like a beautiful flower. The surrounding stones frame the centre stone, making it appear larger. This type of ring is also called a flower ring. It is very important that the smaller lab grown diamond stones are positioned identically so there is no interference of light but perfect unity instead. Our skilled goldsmiths take care of every detail. Each individual stone is carefully set by hand. During manufacturing, the way light falls is constantly monitored to make sure the special cluster effect is still visible.
