A 3D replica is a plastic sample model of your chosen design. It gives you a good impression of the shape, proportions and how the jewellery is worn.
It shows the design and proportions very well, but not the colour, lustre or weight of the finished precious-metal jewellery. The final piece may also be slightly more refined or thinner because of finishing and polishing.
Yes. Many customers find a 3D replica a helpful way to check the size and see how the chosen design sits on the finger. Where applicable, Perfect Fit can be used for one final size adjustment after delivery.

For many orders, DiamondsByMe offers a voluntary 30-day returns service from delivery. The available return option and conditions depend on the jewellery and chosen specification. Where a statutory cancellation right applies, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
This depends on the order. A Custom Design, fully bespoke design or clearly personalised item is generally excluded from the voluntary returns service. If a statutory exception to cancellation applies, this is shown before you order.
Register your return or cancellation through the returns portal. You will then receive return instructions and, where applicable, a return label. If a label does not work, contact us before posting the item.
If you return an item because you have changed your mind, return costs are your responsibility where this was communicated in advance. If the item is damaged, faulty, incomplete or supplied incorrectly, DiamondsByMe covers the necessary return costs.
After receipt and registration we inspect your return. For a statutory cancellation, we refund within the applicable legal period; we may wait until we receive the jewellery or proof of return. The refund is made using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
Contact us before sending from a country other than the delivery country or from a different sender address. Labels, insurance, customs paperwork and taxes may be affected. Never send a return from outside the EU without our instructions: incorrect documents can result in significant customs or import costs that may not be recoverable.
Your ring usually does not need to be returned. With Perfect Fit, an eligible ring can be adjusted once within 90 days of delivery.
For rings with a band up to and including 3 mm, resizing is generally free. Wider or technically complex rings may require additional work or material; if so, you receive a quotation in advance.
The cost and risk of insured shipping to DiamondsByMe and the return shipment are the customer's responsibility. You receive shipping and payment instructions in advance.
Stop wearing the jewellery and report it immediately. Our goldsmiths assess the cause and possible solution. Do not send the item until you have received shipping instructions.
Register your item through our service portal and include your order number, clear photographs and a description where possible. After assessment, you receive advice and a quotation in advance if costs apply.
We offer a lifetime warranty for demonstrable material and manufacturing defects in jewellery made by DiamondsByMe. This additional service does not limit your statutory rights.
Contact us with your name, order number, a clear description and, where relevant, photographs. Do not send jewellery until you have received our shipping instructions.
We respond within 14 days of receipt. If more time is needed, for example for technical inspection, we tell you within that period when to expect a fuller response.
Current production and estimated delivery times are shown before or during checkout. Timing starts after we receive the required payment, information and any design approval. We inform you promptly about a material delay.
We always show the current price. Prices are updated daily using current gold, platinum, diamond, gemstone and exchange rates, so they may change day to day. Once confirmed before your order is placed, the price does not change unless you request a later change that requires a new quotation.
DiamondsByMe is both manufacturer and retailer, so we remove the middleman. Many pieces are made to order, avoiding a large stock of finished jewellery. We do not reduce quality by making jewellery unnecessarily light: it is made with comfort, strength and finish in mind.
If the parcel is visibly damaged, opened or not securely sealed, preferably do not accept it. Take photographs where possible and contact us immediately.

Our Dutch showroom displays gold-plated silver sample models with cubic zirconia, so you can assess the design, proportions and fit. For safety reasons, not every design is shown in precious metal with genuine stones. In some cases, if available, we can show a genuine stone or a returned piece; contact us first for a specific model.
Our jewellery is designed and made in our own workshop in the Netherlands. Our factory in Thailand provides support for specialised production, service and finishing work. This combines Dutch design and craftsmanship with our international team's expertise.

Yes. Our designers and goldsmiths can develop a bespoke design with you. Once you approve the design and specifications in writing, they are fixed; a later change may affect price and delivery time.
Images, renders and 3D models show the design. Handmade jewellery and natural diamonds or gemstones can have small differences in colour, structure, size or proportions, while the agreed material and product specifications are followed.
